A friend sent these to me the other day, of a friend of his wedding- how fabulous this whole occasion looks! The long grass, the amazing dress (made by the brides own fair hand, the men's outfits....and best of all, whe looks soooooo happy. The dress cost £16.50 - no, I didn't get the decimal point in the wrong place - and I think the photos here go a little way to demonstrating that a wedding is for the couple themselves, and what they really think would be romantic and fun and meaningful to them. Not necessarily an 'event' to impress hundreds of people with thousands being spent...
It's YOUR event guys and gals, and although I understand it's not always possible, do your own thing as far as you can, and have something personal about your wedding, to make it meaningful to you. I try to do this in my design work, as I believe it is THE thing..... email me or call me if you're getting married and you think the same way!
