Hand Sewing
COURSE 9:
HAND SEWING: £384 (3 weeks, 6 hrs teaching or equivalent in 1 hr classes online, £192)
Along with the 'Make Do and Mend' ethic now returning as a 'GOOD THING' to help fight climate change, and the fact that we generally are far too much of a throwaway society, and considering what some people have been saying to me about hand sewing skills generally, I've been inspired to launch this new course all about Hand Sewing. It will tell you how to do it, and show how it can save you lots of money (and save the planet!) by repairing and mending.
(Handouts provided showing instructions and diagrams, and a list of suppliers for all threads and haberdashery. Free sample pack to each student of amazing Japanese supplier Tulip's needles, with the company catalogue to order from if desired.)
